About the Opportunity:

Alberta Health Services is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Grande Prairie. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical professional practice and collaborating with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and other partners to deliver rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management services to patients and clients.
  • Participate in the planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and other partners.
  • Supervise students and provide clinical guidance to other staff as appropriate.
  • Use clinical expertise to inform ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider certification.
  • Effective assessment, treatment, and education skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle in good repair for work-related travel.
