The Building Maintenance Worker plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of the facilities at Humphry Inn & Suites. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment for guests and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain cleanliness.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to eliminate debris and refuse.
  • Waste Management: Regularly empty trash cans and waste containers.
  • Facility Upkeep: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to ensure a pristine appearance.
  • Repairs: Make minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs on appliances as needed.
  • Heavy Lifting: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Routine Tasks: Perform various maintenance jobs, including painting and drywall repair.
