Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular wellness visits for all residents to identify their ongoing needs and services.
- Assess, monitor, and follow up with residents who have experienced any falls, accidents, or incidents.
- Document all pertinent information in the resident wellness file and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with residents' families and responsible parties to ensure their medical needs are being met.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and community team to promote infection control standards and quality care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and documented accurately.
- Participate in Sunrise Quality Assurance Meetings and Clinical Meetings to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
- Current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of one year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.
