Job Title: Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Statistical Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in statistics and data science, as well as contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate courses in statistics and data science
  • Contribute to the development of our curriculum
  • Collaborate with other faculty members on research projects
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects
Requirements:
  • PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related area
  • Teaching experience in statistics and data science
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching large classes
  • Experience collaborating with other instructors and teaching assistants
  • Interest in supervising undergraduate research projects
