Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Business Analyst Lead to join our team at Affinity Group. As a key member of our healthcare consulting team, you will be responsible for leading the development of Order Set standards and streamlining Order Set workflows used by healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a Clinical Standards Team in the development of Order Set standards and workflows.
  2. Work closely with team leads, Subject Matter Experts, and clinical stakeholders to gather business requirements and design new standards and workflows.
  3. Serve as a subject matter expert on the impact of Clinical Information Solutions (CIS) and digitization of clinical processes on content, workflows, and procedures.
  4. Develop and maintain high-level project plans and assist in complex problem-solving processes.
  5. Gather and define business and system requirements, conduct gap analysis, develop design documents, and facilitate engagement sessions to achieve project objectives.
  6. Foster and maintain close working relationships with various lines of business to ensure business and information technology requirements align.
Qualifications
  1. University or Community College Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst responsible for requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, workflow design, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation.
  3. 5 years of demonstrated experience and understanding of medical terminology, treatment protocols, and clinical guidelines.
  4. 3 years of Leadership experience on clinical information solution implementation project(s) leading teams through all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (design, build, test, deploy).
  5. 5 years of demonstrated experience working with a high level of self-direction, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels.
  6. 3 years of demonstrated experience working with multiple stakeholders and leading teams supporting more than one project stream/activity at a time.
  7. 3 years of demonstrated experience as a regulated healthcare provider with experience in the use or development of order and order sets in an operational role.
  8. 1 year of demonstrated expertise employing project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  9. 3 years of knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams) in the work environment.
  10. 1 year of knowledge of the JIRA platform for issue and project task management.
  11. Verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in both French and English is strongly preferred.
  12. Previous experience working within public health authorities, showcasing a strong understanding of the public healthcare landscape, policies, and practices.

Hourly rate: $100/hour.
