About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data scientist to lead our team in developing risk decision models for personal financing products. As a Senior Data Scientist/Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing risk decision models for personal financing products
  • Supporting and coaching two senior data scientists in model development
  • Ensuring smooth progression of activities
  • Organizing and leading discussions with business line and risk management partners for model approval
  • Overseeing the deployment of models in decision engines
  • Advancing expertise and maturity of strategies by exploring new data sources or new modeling techniques
About the Team

Our team is responsible for all modeling and risk strategies for credit cards, personal financing, and SMEs. You will report to the Senior Director of Models and Risk Strategies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field
  • 3-5 years of experience in modeling, decision strategies, or other relevant data science roles
  • Proficiency in statistical/econometric models and machine learning
  • Expertise in statistical programming tools like SAS/SQL (R or Python)
  • Knowledge of personal credit products and risk management
