As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe work environment and maintaining compliance with safety regulations throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety initiatives to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with site personnel to develop and maintain safety procedures and protocols
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety best practices and procedures
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including OHS, CSA, and ANSI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Competitive salary range of $85,000 to $90,000 per annum
- Minimum 3 weeks' paid vacation
