Job Summary

We are looking for a Line Cook who is passionate about cooking and has a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and requisition food and kitchen supplies.

Cooking and Food Preparation

Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.

Kitchen Management

Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Staff Supervision

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training as needed.

Cleanliness and Safety

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.

Work Setting
