Senior Manager, Machine Learning and Data Science Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Machine Learning and Data Science to lead our dynamic Data Enablement team. As a key member of our Senior Engineering Leadership team, you will be responsible for fostering a thriving culture, product execution, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Senior Engineering Leaders, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to drive data value and AI innovation.
- Lead the development of advanced automation tooling for data orchestration, evaluation, testing, monitoring, administration, and data operations.
- Inspire and lead the Data Enablement team by setting clear objectives, promoting innovation, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Responsible for creating a high-performing team and fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and collaborative problem-solving within the team.
- Lead with company values in mind and help create bridges across organizations.
- Lead the development of predictive models to help drive insights and decisions, both in Loopio's product and internal teams (RevOps, Marketing, CX).
- Work closely with stakeholders within and across teams to understand the data needs of the business and produce processes that enable a better product and support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead the development of scalable data pipelines using Databricks, and AWS (Redshift, S3, RDS), and other cloud technologies.
- Lead the support of Loopio's data warehouse (Redshift) and data lake (Databricks delta lake).
- Lead the orchestration of pipelines using workflow frameworks/tooling.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or data science with recent experience in machine learning demonstrating mastery of advanced ML algorithms, frameworks.
- 3+ years of people management experience, including highly effective conflict resolution, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, coaching low to high-level performers.
- Strong understanding of business operational and technical/engineering concepts backed by problem-solving skills to help drive technical decision-making.
- Experience with distributed systems development using microservices architecture.
- Experience in building and maintaining an enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and being well-versed in Data Lake architecture and design.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing cloud-based training pipelines.
- Ability to implement state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms.
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks, algorithms, and design of various inference systems, including cloud-based servers and hardware accelerators.
- Experience in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP), Docker containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure Automation, and API development.
- Proven experience in software product delivery and operations for large-scale customer-facing and mission-critical products.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading diverse teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to influence and inspire others to positively impact decisions and lead teams through complex or ambiguous situations or challenges.
- Demonstrated business acumen when it comes to understanding the total cost of ownership and cost-to-profitability models across multiple interdependent products.
- Experience working in a high-growth agile software development environment, ideally with experience in B2B SaaS.
- Experience building and supporting large-scale systems in a production environment.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical roadmap, challenges, and mitigation.
- Experience with container orchestration (leveraging tools like Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
- Experience working with BI PaaS / SaaS solutions.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures.
- Hands-on experience as ML/DS engineer.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing techniques.
- Experience using deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow / Pytorch.
