Bakery Specialist

Cedars Bakery is seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing dough, batters, and icings for a variety of baked goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes. Bake mixed dough and batters to meet established quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
- Training and Supervision: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Maintenance and Organization: Operate machinery and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
