Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Cedars Bakery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes to meet the high standards of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Training and Supervision: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, and inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Machinery Operation: Operate machinery as needed to support production.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of work.
- 40 hours per week.
