We are looking for an experienced professional to fill the role of Chief Fire Officer and Building Authority. This pivotal position offers the chance to oversee the fire services and building operations within a thriving community in Ontario. Primary Duties:- Oversee all operational facets of the fire services, including emergency response, training, prevention, and administrative functions.
- Ensure adherence to the Ontario Building Code Act and relevant legislation.
- Manage and mentor personnel within the fire and building departments.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in firefighting, including leadership roles.
- In-depth understanding of firefighting techniques and building code compliance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
