Senior Data Scientist

BMO is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and leverage cutting-edge analytical techniques to drive impactful business decisions.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of data-driven strategies within BMO. You'll be responsible for mining and analyzing vast datasets to uncover hidden patterns, trends, and insights that can optimize operations, enhance customer experiences, and fuel growth.
Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Design and implement innovative data modeling techniques using machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence algorithms.
- Develop predictive models to forecast business outcomes and support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for various business units.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of large datasets to identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and tools within the data science landscape, continuously seeking ways to enhance our analytical capabilities.
- 7+ years of proven experience as a Data Scientist in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
