About the Senior Data Scientist Role

We're seeking an experienced Data Scientist to play a foundational role in shaping Float's data science capabilities and strategies. As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll develop a data strategy aligned with Float's goals, identify key metrics, and set processes for data collection, storage, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data strategies to drive business decisions
  • Build and maintain data infrastructure, including data warehouses and data visualization tools
  • Collaborate with the product team to build data-led products
  • Analyze large-scale datasets to extract meaningful insights
  • Evaluate model performance and propose enhancements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide solutions

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in data modeling, data structures, data mining, and predictive modeling
  • Experience with data visualization tools and machine learning algorithms
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the company's goals and objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
