WORK ENVIRONMENT:
In-Shop

TYPE: Full-Time (Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, 40 hours/week)

COMPENSATION:
Competitive rate based on experience and education

SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT:

Our team of skilled technicians will work on a variety of specialized equipment, including, vac trucks, hydro vacs, combo builds, street sweepers, trackless, refuse and recycling trucks.
From preventative maintenance to diagnostics and repairs.

ABOUT YOU:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed Heavy Equipment (421A) or Truck & Coach Technician (310T) or level 3-4 apprentices
  • 2+ years' experience as a Licensed Mechanic
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Abstract
  • Experienced with hydraulic and/or electrical work


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform troubleshooting, mechanical repairs and PDIs (pre-delivery inspections) on a variety of heavy equipment represented by JJE
  • Conduct repairs in a timely and effective manner, communicating effectively with the Service Writer and Parts team to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections
  • Communicate with Lead Hand and/or Service Manager regarding job progress and job status changes
  • Maintain organized and safe work area and shop tools
