Construction Specialist

At DJ TRILLIUM LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of construction projects.
Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials: Our ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting construction materials to the site and loading/unloading them as needed.
- Operate mobile and tower cranes: This role requires the ability to operate various types of cranes, including mobile and tower cranes, to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
- Perform pre-operational inspection: The successful candidate will ensure that all equipment and machinery are in good working condition before use.
- Read blueprints: Our Construction Specialist will interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure that all tasks are completed according to plan.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades: This role involves setting up and taking down various types of construction equipment and materials.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials: Our ideal candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs: This role requires the ability to assist in various stages of construction, including framing, wall erection, and roofing.
- Assist in demolishing buildings: Our Construction Specialist will assist in the safe demolition of buildings, ensuring that all materials are properly removed and disposed of.
- Perform routine maintenance work: This role involves performing regular maintenance tasks to ensure that equipment and machinery are in good working condition.
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants: Our ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning up any chemical spills or other contaminants that may occur on site.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites: This role involves removing any rubble or debris from construction sites, ensuring that the area is safe and clean.
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction: Our Construction Specialist will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of construction equipment.
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites: This role involves directing traffic to ensure the safe flow of people and vehicles around construction sites.
- Physically demanding: This role requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Manual dexterity: Our ideal candidate will have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, as well as the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Handling heavy loads: This role involves handling heavy loads, including materials and equipment.
- Work conditions: Our Construction Specialist will work in a fast-paced construction environment, exposed to various weather conditions and potential hazards.
