About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Construction Equipment Operator to join our team at Torrent Construction Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy construction equipment such as cranes, excavators, and bulldozers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and working at heights.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy construction equipment operation.
  • Equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
