Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, providing direct patient care and supporting the healthcare team in delivering patient-centered care. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and prioritize tasks
