Pest Control Technician Job Description

At METROKING PEST CONTROL INC., we are seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation, providing estimates of costs, and determining the type of treatment required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation
  • Provide estimates of costs
  • Determine the type of treatment required
  • Prepare and spray chemical mixtures on infested areas
  • Fumigate households
  • Place and set traps to capture and remove animals
  • Install animal control barriers to keep animals off property
  • Clean out areas that harbour pests
  • Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation
  • Book appointments
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The Pest Control Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and excellent oral communication skills.
