MetroKing Pest Control Inc. is seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for providing effective pest control solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and Identify: Inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation and identify the type of pest.
- Provide Estimates: Provide estimates of costs to clients for pest control services.
- Treatment and Prevention: Determine the type of treatment required and prepare and spray chemical mixtures on infested areas to prevent future infestations.
- Equipment and Machinery: Operate animal traps, electrical sprayers, mechanical sprayers, needle strips, and netting devices to control pest populations.
- Client Communication: Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestations and book appointments for follow-up services.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in pest control or a related field.
- Skills: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and excellent oral communication.
As a Pest Control Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to work 40 hours per week and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.
