About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at KSS TRANSPORT LTD. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely and Efficiently: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods across the country.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from tractor-trailers, adhering to company procedures and safety protocols.
  • Perform Vehicle Maintenance: Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate Effectively: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Be familiar with driver logbooks and inspection reports.
  • Transportation Experience: Have long-haul transportation experience and a valid driver's license.
  • Weight Handling: Be able to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
