Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the education and training of nursing staff and students.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Current Level C CPR certification. ACLS, CTAS required or acquired within twelve (12) months from date of hire.
- Completion of, or willingness to enroll in a post-graduate Critical Care or Emergency Department Course.
- Must be willing to attain in-house certification courses as required.
- Experience working in an Emergency Department or Critical Care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize patient care.
