Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Handle large or major accounts with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service experiences.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office programs and 10 Key.
  • Quality Assurance: Consistently exceed expectations in all performance areas, including scorecard initiatives.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism and present a positive image of the company.
  • Responsiveness: Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding order entry, order status, returns, product, and warranties.
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between the customer and ESAB Group Canada Inc.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve outstanding matters and demonstrate responsiveness and a sense of urgency when dealing with customers.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure all processes in the department comply with ISO standards or policies while promoting a quality mindset for all employees.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide general product knowledge, features, and benefits of ESAB products.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Three years+ customer service or related experience.
  • Skills: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, ability to work well under pressure, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to handle large or major accounts.
  • Software: Proficient in MS Office programs and 10 Key.
  • Desired Skills: SAP experience strongly desired.
