Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to detect and prevent potential security threats
  • Lock and unlock doors, and maintain access control systems
  • Assist staff and students on campus, and provide customer service
  • Respond to security incidents, and write reports as necessary
  • Enforce property laws, client rules, and other regulations
  • Assist in emergency situations, and provide first aid as needed
  • Interact with students, visitors, and the general public in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled or completed Police Foundation or equivalent education is considered an asset

  • Valid G/G-2 license and a clean abstract
  • Valid First Aid and CPR C, AED certification
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Vulnerable Sector Check Clearance required
