Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of our two branches, focusing on recruitment, training, mentoring, and coaching of branch personnel.
  • Guide branch teams in aligning with the credit union's vision, values, and commitments.
  • Manage both branches as profit centers, achieving targets in sales, deposits, loans, and membership growth.
  • Analyze performance reports to identify trends and marketing opportunities within the branch's service area.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of financial products and services, including financial planning, wealth management, personal loans, mortgages, and insurance solutions.
  • Assess profit and loss potential utilizing information systems alongside industry knowledge.
  • Engage in business development initiatives to expand our membership and revenue base.
  • Initiate and lead in-branch campaigns aimed at enhancing overall performance.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in retail banking, consistently achieving branch objectives.
  • Expertise in coaching and mentoring, fostering team growth and development.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
  • Experience in change management is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect and engage with teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven business development skills, with a track record of cultivating positive member relationships and expanding branch portfolios.
  • Knowledge of deposit products, personal lending, residential mortgages, and wealth management.
  • Exceptional sales and business development skills, with success in negotiating terms with members.
