Academic Emergency Physician Opportunity

McMaster University's Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences invites applications for an Academic Emergency Physician position. This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years, renewable based on performance and departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division of Emergency Medicine
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Emergency Medicine
  • Participate in departmental and divisional educational activities
  • Develop and implement educational programs in Emergency Medicine

Requirements:

  • Certification or eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC or equivalent) in Emergency Medicine
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the Province of Ontario
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Academic Emergency Physician
