Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Industrial Systems Engineering

We are seeking a highly qualified individual for a tenure-track faculty position in the Industrial Systems Engineering program at the University of Regina. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching undergraduate lab courses in core industrial systems topics, as well as conducting research and contributing to the growth of the program.

Our Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science offers a range of programs, including Industrial Systems Engineering, and has a strong commitment to providing an excellent "systems approach" to engineering education.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in process engineering or industrial systems engineering, and will be familiar with common unit operations such as reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, and distillation columns. They will also have experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting process and chemical equipment, and will have demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment.
The successful candidate will be required to show a strong commitment to teaching and developing new labs, as well as Faculty and university service during their appointment. They will also be expected to contribute to the growth of the Industrial Systems Engineering program, and to develop and teach courses in areas such as process engineering and general engineering.
Responsibilities- Develop and teach undergraduate lab courses in core industrial systems topics
- Conduct research and contribute to the growth of the Industrial Systems Engineering program
- Develop and teach courses in areas such as process engineering and general engineering
- Contribute to Faculty and university service
- B.A.Sc. or equivalent in Process engineering or Industrial Systems engineering or a closely related area
- Appropriate credentials for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Saskatchewan
- Diploma of Applied Science/Technology in Process engineering or Industrial Systems engineering or a closely related area
- Appropriate credentials for registration as an Applied Science Technologist in Saskatchewan
