Canada Lutheran Child & Family Services of IN and Northern KY Full time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Lutheran Child & Family Services of IN and Northern KY as a Care Support Assistant.

This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, organized, and familiar with community programs and services for adults.

As a Care Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support, companionship, and home visitation to older adults on a monthly basis.

You will also be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and reporting client needs to the Seniors Support Coordinator.

Additionally, you will provide light housekeeping services and ideally have a high school education and/or post-secondary diploma/certificate in human services, with experience working as a cleaner and with older adults.

We are looking for a full year commitment to the position, with an opportunity for this position to become full-time permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and companionship to older adults in their homes
  • Identify and report client needs to the Seniors Support Coordinator
  • Provide light housekeeping services
  • Work collaboratively with community programs and services for adults

Requirements:

  • High school education and/or post-secondary diploma/certificate in human services
  • Experience working as a cleaner and with older adults
  • Empathetic and organized individual
  • Familiarity with community programs and services for adults
