Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead a team of 8-10 accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and success.
  • Month-End Process: Coordinate the month-end process, including the supervision of internal teams, documentation, and data consolidation.
  • Year-End Process: Manage the year-end process, including coordination with external auditors and internal teams.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Supervise the preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements, as well as third-party reporting.
  • General Ledger Analysis: Coordinate and review general ledger account analyses, including the preparation of presentations for senior management.
  • Process Optimization: Participate in optimization or acquisition projects requiring accounting support.
  • Process Governance: Ensure that established processes are respected and governed.
Requirements
  • Accounting Expertise: Possess a university degree in accounting, a recognized professional accreditation (CPA), and 5-10 years of experience in the field.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to enlist the cooperation of others and mobilize a team to achieve objectives.
  • Initiative: Show a proactive approach to improving accounting processes and automating them.
  • Thoroughness: Possess a meticulous and detail-oriented approach, ensuring the accuracy of information provided at all times.
  • Stress Management: Demonstrate the ability to concentrate under stress and tight deadlines, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Business Acumen: Possess a strong business sense, with the ability to make sound financial decisions and provide analysis on the company's situation.
  • Analytical Mindset: Enjoy solving complex problems and have the ability to reason conceptually, identify links between different elements, and make accurate diagnoses.
  • Computer Skills: Possess expertise in Excel and spreadsheets, as well as a comparable ERP system.
