About the Role

SaskEnergy is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our Solutions & Architecture team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing Information Technology (IT) solutions to business problems. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing systems, applications, infrastructure, and processes that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead solution evaluation and technical planning for PDO projects
  • Develop non-functional and technical specifications for solution RFP documents
  • Ensure solutions are in alignment with enterprise strategies and focused on business outcomes
  • Oversee the activities of technical resources to deliver solutions
  • Contribute to architecture boards and continued improvement of our practice
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Solution Architect role, with a proven track record of delivering large IT projects
  • Strong technical background in systems, architectures, systems management, networking, and application design techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create effective tailored content
  • Experience working closely with business to solve technical and process problems
  • Canadian federal, provincial, municipal government work experience – minimum 2 years preferred
  • Government of Saskatchewan / Utilities work – minimum 2 years preferred
  • TOGAF 8 or higher
