We are seeking a qualified French Language Educator to join our team at the Waterloo Catholic District School Board.
About the Role
This is a permanent position teaching French as a second language in an elementary setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach French as a second language to elementary students
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and supportive school culture
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a strong understanding of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations and the Ontario curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the Ontario College of Teacher's standards and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
