We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Associate to join our team at Tiverton General Store. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Maintain sales records for inventory control and perform data entry
- Operate cash register and process transactions
- Assist in display of merchandise and maintain a visually appealing store environment
- Perform labouring duties in warehouses and ensure compliance with government regulations
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
