Sales Associate

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at Tiverton General Store. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the store and warehouse areas
- Operate cash register and process transactions
- Perform data entry and maintain sales records for inventory control
- Assist in display of merchandise and maintain store displays
- Perform labouring duties in warehouses and ensure compliance with government regulations
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Reliability, time management, and organizational skills
