Job Summary

As an Optical Team Lead at EssilorLuxottica, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving store success. You will be responsible for managing key optical and lab processes, ensuring customers and patients are delighted, and assisting in the achievement of store success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure the team provides unsurpassed customer service, proactive and solution-driven, accurate execution, and product knowledge.
  • Team Management: Assist in the achievement of store success by managing key optical and lab processes and systems to exceptional results.
  • Lab Operations: Custom fit glasses, precisely place prescriptions in lenses, and ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
  • Training and Development: Work with associates to strengthen their knowledge, skill, and certification for foundational product and store processes related to lens and lab technology.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Strong optical and retail experience, knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skills: Strong basic math skills, sales skills, problem-solving ability, and familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
  • Certifications: State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states, LensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification, and LensCrafters Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Program.
