We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer, CNC/CMM Specialist to join our team at International Rubber Products Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and conducting production, inventory, and quality assurance programs using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Develop and implement computer programs for CNC/CMM machines to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Process Inspection: Inspect processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Machine Control: Set up and control machine or equipment controls to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Work Measurement: Conduct work measurement studies to optimize production workflows and reduce waste.
- Computer Applications: Develop computer applications for machines and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Data Collection: Collect and compile operational or experimental data to inform business decisions.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data and samples to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports to support business operations.
- Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints and drawings to understand production requirements and specifications.
- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
This is a permanent position with a 32-40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
