About the Opportunity

Nipissing University invites applications for two (2) Limited-term (10 months) Academic Faculty Positions with a specialization in Curriculum Design, Assessment and Evaluation, or Science Education. These positions are in the Schulich School of Education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in Curriculum Design, Assessment and Evaluation, or Science Education
  • Conduct research and scholarly activity in the field of education
  • Contribute to university service and committee work

Requirements

  • Completion or near completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Education or a closely related field
  • Certification as a registered teacher with their respective licensing authority is an asset
  • Demonstrated exemplary record of teaching at the elementary and/or secondary level(s) is required
  • Promise of research is expected and research experience is considered an asset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in curriculum design, assessment, and evaluation
  • Expertise in science education or a related field
