We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our Child and Adolescent Addiction and Mental Health Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership and expertise in the care and treatment of children and youth with mental health and addiction issues.
About the Role:- Provide safe, quality patient-centered care to children and youth with mental health and addiction issues.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct assessments and provide counseling to patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with the child, family, and youth population.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience working with mental health and addiction.
