Job Title: Web Designer

We are seeking a skilled Web Designer to join our team at Recruit Hub Consulting Inc. as a key member of our digital solutions team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions, as well as providing advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confer with clients to identify requirements and develop Website requirements
  • Prepare mock-ups and storyboards to visualize Website design and functionality
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions using a variety of software and tools
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery to clients and stakeholders
  • Source, select, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the Website
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware
  • Create and optimize content for the Website using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software
  • Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches
  • Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle
  • Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Willing to relocate for this position
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
