About The Sushi Chef

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Sushi Chef. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Work under the supervision of a senior cook or chef to ensure dishes are prepared to our high standards
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of various cuisines, including Japanese cuisine
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability
