Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Product Marketing Manager to lead the launch and growth of our high-speed connector portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for formulating and executing a strategy to drive business development in new markets and customers, while also pursuing expanded opportunities in our existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product launch strategy to drive growth and revenue in the high-speed connector market.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing, to drive new technology go-to-market strategies and develop tools and support materials to facilitate new design wins.
  • Conduct market and customer research to identify trends and opportunities, and develop product roadmaps to meet customer needs.
  • Manage product life cycles, including setting strategic vision, building and maintaining product roadmaps, and owning P&L.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with global sales and field application engineering teams to drive new business development and expand opportunities in existing customer base.
  • Participate in high-speed IO connector standards groups to influence and strategically position Amphenol solutions.
  • Obtain and use analysis of competitors and competitor products to identify opportunities to outperform the competition.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction of assigned product line.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders to understand their technology needs and strategic direction.
  • Think and act as a business owner, with the ability to forecast bookings and revenues, perform competitive analysis, and evaluate key capital investment ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; MBA/MS desirable.
  • 10+ years of product management and business development experience; preferably for an electronics product line in a related market.
  • Experience managing product life cycles, including setting strategic vision, building and maintaining product roadmaps, and owning P&L.
  • Experience launching new technology products into the telecom/datacom/AI/ML markets.
  • People management experience.

  • Strong technical aptitude combined with business acumen.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels, from manufacturing floor to executive management team.
  • Attention to detail, while maintaining perspective on top-level goals.
  • Willing to travel globally and work in a global business structure; significant travel requirement (40-50%).
