Accounts Receivable Clerk Job Description

Santé Circle Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage receivables from various clients, including healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and issue accurate invoices to clients, ensuring timely and accurate management of receivables.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable balances, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
  • Monitor and track incoming payments, following up on overdue accounts through phone calls, emails, and letters.
  • Implement strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding accounts receivable matters, providing clear communication and resolving queries or concerns.
  • Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts receivable, including aging reports, for review by the Accounts Receivable Manager.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounts receivable or similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing procedures and insurance claims processing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
