Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the prompt and professional sale of beverages and food at the venue's multiple service points.
  • Provide beverage services during special events, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
  • Manage high-volume service periods efficiently, particularly during intermissions, to maximize patron engagement.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu offerings and event specifics.
  • Report any operational issues to management in a timely manner.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.
  • Document any incidents or challenges encountered during shifts.
  • Adhere to all regulations concerning the responsible service of alcohol.
  • Uphold the highest standards of beverage service and hospitality at all times.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of service areas, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Assist in restocking supplies as necessary.
  • Complete cash handling and inventory reconciliation at the end of each shift.
  • Occasionally assist with merchandise sales during concerts.

Qualifications:

  • Smart Serve certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in bartending or food service is required.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
  • Strong commitment to patron safety and responsible beverage management.
  • Experience in a similar performance venue is advantageous.
  • A passion for music and the arts is highly valued.
  • Professional demeanor with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to remain composed and address challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, averaging 10-15 hours per week.

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage of $16.80.

Additional Information:

  • Shifts may vary, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
  • This role is physically demanding, requiring prolonged periods of standing and mobility throughout the venue.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is expected.
