Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and family members to facilitate optimal function in self-care, productivity, and leisure.
- Work under the supervision of the Manager of Rehabilitation Services
- Provide consultation, assessment, treatment, evaluation, and follow-up in various settings
- Establish individualized treatment plans and goals with clients
- Manage a busy caseload and prioritize issues using clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Provide education and support to clients, families, and caregivers
- Contribute to the clinical education of OT students and related health disciplines
- Adhere to Nova Scotia Health policies and procedures and professional standards
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
- Licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to promoting a culture of respect and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adjust to changing service needs
- Competencies in other languages an asset (French preferred)
- Temporary Full-time Short Assignment
- 75 hours bi-weekly
$42.06 hourly
