Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP) is in search of a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role, you will be tasked with developing, executing, and documenting testing procedures to guarantee that our solutions meet performance standards and are free of defects. Additionally, you will formulate strategies for automating test processes.

  • Craft comprehensive testing strategies and plans informed by both technical and business requirements
  • Create and implement test scripts
  • Record and monitor defects, supplying detailed reproduction instructions
  • Assist in the development of automation frameworks
  • Incorporate testing within DevOps workflows
  • Evaluate quality-control tests to confirm software compliance with standards
  • Work collaboratively with agile teams for effective testing planning and execution
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in software quality assurance or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Azure Technologies and Load Testing Tools
  • Knowledge of cloud technology and security principles
  • Proficiency in SQL, C#, .Net, Selenium, and automated testing tools
  • Capability to produce technical documentation
  • Strong analytical skills and a customer-focused mindset
