Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Operations Manager at Pioneer Food Services Limited involves overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment. This position requires a combination of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Determine the types of services to be provided and implement effective operational procedures.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Staff Leadership: Lead and instruct team members, addressing any customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in their job duties, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit operational reports, including budget and cost estimates.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Scheduling: Establish methods and schedules to meet operational needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service meet established quality control standards.
Team Management

This position will involve supervising a team of approximately 16-20 individuals, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Work Environment

The role requires the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail while standing for extended periods.
