Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Bright Star Respite. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on communication and swallowing strategies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists Certification
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
