Mechanic - Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic - Equipment Specialist to join our team at T.D. Williamson. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our equipment and services.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify any damage or wear, and perform repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Shipping and Receiving: Ensure that all equipment is properly packaged and loaded for shipment, and that all receiving functions are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including completion of all necessary documentation.
- Compliance: Ensure that all equipment is properly tagged and marked, and that all procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical Certification: Possess technical certification in automation, mechanics, or electronics, and a minimum of three years of technical experience.
- Equipment Experience: Have experience with the repair and maintenance of TDW services equipment.
- Travel: Be willing to travel up to 30% of the time, including travel to the US.
- Licensing: Possess a full G Driver's License.
The following qualifications would be an asset:
- Microsoft Office Skills: Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- TDW Equipment Knowledge: Have working knowledge of TDW equipment maintenance.
- Hydraulic Equipment Knowledge: Possess working knowledge of hydraulic equipment, including pumps, motors, control valves, etc.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent computer skills.
- Language Skills: Possess the ability to read blueprints and speak English, with French as a second language being an asset.
