About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Consultant to join our HR Claims Quebec team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting leaders to drive employee engagement and leverage our purpose to help people, businesses, and society prosper in good times and be resilient in bad times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional HR coaching and advice to selected business groups, considering best practices and trends, and ensuring that HR management decisions and practices meet legislation as well as company rules and values.
  • Participate in the management committees of the assigned groups and be constantly aware of human resources management issues.
  • Search, analyze data and recommend potential solutions to a variety of tactical and operational issues in human resources management.
  • Participate in local or national projects.
  • Facilitate focus group, training workshops and information sessions for employees and/or managers.
  • Support Senior Consultants in all types of mandates.
  • Contribute to the HR process improvement.
Requirements
  • University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resource Management with three (3) years of experience in human resources, in an advisory role.
  • Ability to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization and in a constantly changing environment.
  • Knowledge in many areas of human resources including performance management and labour relations, disability management, compensation, and talent management.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
  • CHRP designation is an asset.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
