Retail Operations Supervisor

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of our retail environment at Mr. Lube + Tires. This position is essential for ensuring a smooth operation and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Lead a team of 5-10 employees, including apprentices and sales associates.
- Task Assignment: Allocate duties to sales personnel to optimize workflow.
- Recruitment and Training: Hire new staff and facilitate their training or arrange for necessary training programs.
- Course Instruction: Provide professional development courses to enhance staff skills.
- Financial Authorization: Approve payments and manage financial transactions.
- Inventory Management: Order and manage merchandise, including authorizing returns.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain work schedules for staff.
- Sales Responsibilities: Actively engage in selling merchandise and assisting customers.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, inventory, and personnel issues.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply challenges.
- Inventory Organization: Maintain and organize stock to ensure availability.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members.
This role operates in a fast-paced setting, requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Physical demands include:
- Handling heavy loads
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Extended periods of standing and mobility
