About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Logistician to join our team at Yamato Transport U.S.A., Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Logistics Oversight: Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring seamless execution of transportation and delivery services.
  • Logistics Planning and Organization: Plan and organize the operational logistics of the organization, including coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Workforce Management: Monitor personnel workloads and locations, ensuring optimal resource allocation and productivity.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Coordination and Assignment: Coordinate, assign, and review work tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely delivery.
  • Training and Development: Train other workers on logistics procedures and best practices, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
